This course provides a comprehensive foundation in wireless communication systems, beginning with the evolution of mobile networks and the fundamental design principles of cellular systems, including frequency reuse and capacity enhancement techniques. It explores mobile radio propagation by examining large-scale path loss models alongside signal degradation caused by small-scale fading and multipath effects. Additionally, it covers advanced digital and spread spectrum modulation techniques to evaluate and optimize signal performance over challenging wireless channels.
